'We are here to help clear the air'

'keletlhoko' foundation is a non governmental organisation which means be aware in English. The foundation is established to clear the air regarding any misinformation about COVID19.

South Africa reported her first COVID19 case in March 2020. At first, COVID19 was taken lightly as most people believed that it was one of the common virus which was expected not to last long. The president took a stand and addressed the country about what exactly COVID19 is, how is contracted and it's effects. A month later when the virus started spreading and affecting many people that's when COVID19 regulations were put in place like wearing of masks, sanitizing or washing of hands with soap regularly as well as keeping social distance of about 1-2 metres and avoiding crowded areas.

That is when misinformation about COVID19 started to spread like it only affects old people, people of certain race as well as people who used to travel back in the days. Misinformation like COVID19 is a scam and that it comes from cellphone towers which was part of the government's plan to destroy the black population started to spread/circulate very quick which lead to most people being confused as well as brainwashed about what exactly COVID19 is.

The 'Kelethloko' foundation is all about hosting community events virtually as well as hosting face to face events to help educate people more about COVID19 and curb the confusion. The hosted events will adhere to COVID19 regulations which will be the first step of showing people that COVID19 is real, deadly and needs to be taken serious in order to save lives and help beat it by taking a stand.

We are here to inform and not misinform citizens.
